The Chennai Corporate Olympics 2026 continued its exciting journey on 8th & 9th August 2026, bringing together corporate professionals from leading organisations across Chennai for another action-packed weekend of sports, teamwork, and healthy competition. Organised by Corporate Sports Club (CSC), the championship continues to promote employee wellness, networking, and a culture of fitness through sports.

Following two exciting weekends of competition, the Third Week brought another round of intense sporting action across 5 sports and 19 categories. From the precision and concentration of Snooker and 9 Ball Pool to the fast-paced action of Football, Penalty Shooter, and Basketball, participants continued to showcase their skills, determination, and competitive spirit.

The Third Week witnessed enthusiastic participation from companies across Chennai, with athletes and teams delivering exciting performances while demonstrating teamwork, skill, sportsmanship, and determination throughout the competitions.

Highlights from the Third Week

Snooker

Snooker brought precision, patience, and strategic thinking to the Third Week, with exciting competition across 2 categories. Players displayed excellent control, concentration, and tactical awareness as they battled through closely contested matches.

Snooker Medal Tally

Food Hub emerged as the standout performer in Snooker, securing 2 Gold and 1 Silver medal, for a total of 3 medals. Cognizant earned 1 Silver and 1 Bronze medal, while Thoughtworks and Athena Health each secured 1 Bronze medal.

9 Ball Pool

9 Ball Pool added another dimension of skill and strategy, featuring intense competition across 3 categories. Players showcased accuracy, shot selection, and composure as every frame created new opportunities to gain the advantage.

9 Ball Pool Medal Tally

Thoughtworks, Food Hub, and Flex each secured 1 Gold medal. Food Hub was the strongest performer in the Silver category with 2 Silver medals, while Dusters earned 1 Silver medal. LatentView led the Bronze category with 2 Bronze medals, while Ventra Health and DXC Technologies each secured 1 Bronze medal. 

Football (5 on 5)

Football (5 on 5) brought fast-paced team action to the Third Week across 3 categories. Teams demonstrated quick passing, tactical coordination, attacking intent, and strong teamwork throughout the matches.

Football (5 on 5) Medal Tally 

Zoho led the Football (5 on 5) medal tally with 2 Gold and 1 Silver medal, securing 3 medals overall. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) secured 1 Gold medal, while Accenture and BFC each earned 1 Silver medal. Citi, Agilysys, MSC Technology, Synergy Maritime, AstraZeneca, and UPS ITC each secured 1 Bronze medal. 

Penalty Shooter

Penalty Shooter put individual skill, accuracy, and composure to the test across 3 categories. Participants faced the pressure of every attempt, with precision and confidence playing a crucial role in determining the results.

Penalty Shooter Medal Tally

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) emerged as the standout performer in Penalty Shooter, securing 2 Gold medals, while Zoho earned 1 Gold medal. In the Silver category, Cognizant, Zoho, and RR Donnelley each secured 1 Silver medal. Accenture led the Bronze tally with 2 Bronze medals, while Zoho and Synergy Maritime each earned 1 Bronze medal.

 

Basketball

Basketball added high-energy action to the Third Week across 3 categories. Players showcased speed, coordination, teamwork, and shooting skills while competing fiercely for every point.

Basketball Medal Tally 

Infosys emerged as the standout performer in Basketball, securing 1 Gold, 1 Silver, and 1 Bronze medal, for a total of 3 medals. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) followed with 1 Silver and 1 Bronze medal, while Cognizant secured 1 Gold medal. Intellect Design and Zoho each earned 1 Bronze medal, adding to the competitive medal tally.
